An original song written by Peter Webster. 'Too Quiet' is a song that I wrote around 2008. It's about a relationship that is almost - but perhaps not quite - broken beyond repair. I've always loved the way that the Beatles crafted the lyrics for 'She Loves You', with the narrator playing go-between, trying to reconcile an estranged couple ('You think you've lost your love, well I saw her yesterday; it's you she's thinking of, and she told me what to say...'). And that is the idea in this song too.
